Types of Live Baccarat Games
As mentioned, Punto Banco is the most common type of Baccarat game in Bolivia, and some of the most well-known casinos have multiple Punto Banco tables available. Other variations are also available in certain casinos, such as Chemin de Fer, Super 6, and progressive Baccarat.
The standard Punto Banco tables consist of six or eight decks, with two dealers and up to eight players. The game is usually played with chips or cash. At the start of each round, the player must place a bet before any cards are dealt. The game then proceeds in a familiar manner, with the banker and player each aiming to beat the other by having the highest total of cards in their hand.
Different casinos in Bolivia also offer variations of Punto Banco, such as Super 6, which is a variation of Punto Banco with a side bet on a banker win with a total of six. Chemin de Fer is another variant, with this version of Punto Banco played with two to twelve players, and the option of switching banks between each round.
Another popular variant of Baccarat is progressive Baccarat, which allows players to increase their stake by adding side bets, thereby increasing the size of the potential winnings. Progressive Baccarat is still relatively new, but is becoming increasingly popular in Bolivia, as it offers a more varied gaming experience.
